A strategic rebrand and website refresh for OPEG – built to translate complex renewable energy infrastructure into a clear, credible, and human-centred digital presence.

The Challenge

OPEG had a powerful vision, strong technical expertise, and an ambitious renewable energy pipeline – but its digital presence needed to better reflect the scale and seriousness of the business. The challenge was to reposition OPEG as more than an energy company. The brand needed to speak to investors, developers, offtakers, DFIs, EPC partners, and strategic stakeholders, while still communicating the human impact behind every project.

OPEG’s updated positioning centres on developing and investing in renewable energy infrastructure across emerging African markets, with a strong focus on bankable, impact-driven projects.

Our Approach

We began by clarifying OPEG’s strategic message: Structuring Power. Scaling Impact.

From there, we shaped a website and brand narrative that could hold both sides of the business – the technical and the human. The new direction needed to communicate project credibility, investment readiness, renewable energy expertise, and long-term socio-economic value.

The website structure was developed to make OPEG’s offering easier to understand, from project origination and de-risking to investment-grade structuring, EPC oversight, lifecycle operations, ESG, and pan-African delivery.

The result is a sharper, more credible digital platform that positions OPEG for its next stage of growth. The refreshed website now communicates OPEG as a human-centred renewable energy development and investment platform with a pan-African footprint. It gives the company a clearer way to speak to funders, offtakers, developers, communities, and strategic partners.

The rebrand also created a stronger foundation for investor conversations, project pages, PR activity, social media content, and future partnership outreach. Instead of only presenting energy projects as technical assets, the new brand narrative connects OPEG’s work to livelihoods, communities, jobs, skills, and long-term sustainable value – a theme also reflected in OPEG’s company profile and impact positioning.
